Canon Printer Problems

Printers are now essential for our day-to-day operations. As the printer is a machine that humans can perceive prints, the electrical images, documents are hard copies. The printers can be even used at businesses or even at home. It is just the frustrating issues that arise when a printer starts giving problems that can be quickly resolved without a professional’s help.

Given below are some of the solutions to the printer problems:-

  • Canon Printer Not Printing

It is one of the parts of the printer problem.

First, check if the printer is properly plugged in and turned on. When the ON lamp is not flashing, the machine begins its printing.

When the printer is printing a lot of photos or graphics, then the delays are experienced.

Just check the ON lamp, whether it is flashing or not. If it is flashing, wait for the ON lamp to stop flashing because printing starts once it is steady.

Sometimes print jobs that are present and undeleted create the problem. First, remove these print jobs from the queue then try again printing the material.

  •  “No Paper” Alert

Sometimes “no paper” error appears even if the paper is on the printer. There could be other objects on the rear tray.

Please turn off your printer and then unplug it and then remove the rear tray’s objects.

Sometimes this alert appears when the paper is not appropriately loaded into the machine. Make sure that the edges of the paper are adequately aligned while loading the paper into the machine.

In portrait orientation, the paper should be loaded.

This problem can also arise when the paper is curled, wrinkled, or too thick. Replace the paper and make sure that the paper you are loading matches the paper size in the settings.

  • Very Light And Faded Print

Very faded print or light print or a poor-quality print issue usually arises due to clogged printhead. The primary cause of the blockage is dried ink. This problem mainly occurs in inkjet printers, which are not used frequently.

With the problem of printing too light or faded, prints are too sporty and may also have horizontal lines.

The dried ink can be cleared using the printers’ utility program. To check the problem is resolved, print a test page after running the program.

Sometimes the very light or faded prints happen because the ink is about to run out. The printer gives an alert for this, but if this is the problem, make sure to change the cartridges.
